So, I moved it out of the yellow, steel cabinet to an off-site location. As kfortune would have it, I also have several mature aloe vera plants. Will trade for vintage guitars or badass weed.
It is hydroscopic - that is - it absorbs water from the atmosphere - but - if in a sealed container it should not be an issue...
If it is in a poly container, some of the material will eventually dissolve into the alcohol, and it is no longer reagent grade. Still fine for cleaning hands (suitably diluted), but probably not OK for drinking.
