Okay, I looked for a picture that showed A) Black Panthers with weapons, and B) the cops reacting accordingly within the same photo. It was surprisingly hard to find one for reasons that may be related to the limited scope of a newsman's camera. This is the closest I could find:
And oddly enough, I found the context for that Black and White Black Panther pic:
