Is it just me or does the cop in the left panel have a very subdued reaction to that guy I'm fairly certain is a Black Panther?

Okay, I looked for a picture that showed A) Black Panthers with weapons, and B)  the cops reacting accordingly within the same photo. It was surprisingly hard to find one for reasons that may be related to the limited scope of a newsman's camera. This is the closest I could find:



And oddly enough, I found the context for that Black and White Black Panther pic:

Two members of the Black Panther Party are met on the steps of the California State Capitol in Sacramento, May 2, 1967, by Police Lt. Ernest Holloway, who informs them they will be allowed to keep their weapons as long as they cause no trouble and do not disturb the peace. Earlier, several members had invaded the California State Assembly chambers and had their guns taken away.

Yup those are panthers alright .I was just pointing out that the michigan guys didn't seem to get the same treatment .
