Yeah, they can be problematic. But hot dogs can be problematic for me too, so I just say to hell with it and go for it every so often.
The sauerkraut really seems to help. The probiotics help break all that shit down, I guess.

It’s amazing the way we fib to ourselves about food. I’m mad for blueberry scones with lashings of real butter. But blueberries are high in antioxidants, so buttered scones are good for me, right?
