Spreading fear in response to criminal behavior is the best method to fight crime. That's exactly why the police is armed. I would sleep better knowing that thieves are punished under a just system.

Sure, except for how it doesn't work at all to fight crime.  You might not be aware, but I presume that god would know that.  I'm not sure how police work in islamistan - but they're not supposed to be stormtroopers, in the west, spreading fear with their guns.  That's not at all why they're armed...if and when they're armed, lol.

lol. Cops are terrorist in the U.S, in other countries they sell dope and drugs.
Stop insulting the intelligence of the reader, while cops are disciplined a little in Europe -and especially UK-, they are terrorists elsewhere.

You can't stop crime anyway; and no matter what you do you'll have criminals who never fear punishments, but who ever said that punishment is to end crime? it is for the victim of the crime to sleep better at night.

Either it can or you can't stop crime - if it can't stop crime, then it's no way to fight crime, let alone the best way.  Would you sleep better at night knowing that people are being mutilated and tortured on your behalf?
