My first husband watched me search for my glasses for quite a while.  At that time I didn't need them all the time and often hung them on a lamp shade so they were out of the reach of the kids.  I searched and searched and was becoming more frustrated when he finally told me to check the top of my head.  I often just slid them up like a headband...and...there they were.
