RE: how many of you think this is still about Mr Floyd?
You can't really believe that marxists have taken over the us education system and taught americans to hate capitalism, can you? Are you speaking from your vast experience as an australian with us schools?

Anywho, The Donald is very much the leader of an american fascist party. Let's check off boxes, shall we?

Ultra-nationalism and authoritarianism.
The demonization and persecution of minorities.
A cult of the leader.
Demagogic appeals to ignored masses and a treacherous establishment.
Contempt for parliamentary institutions.
Disregard for the law while asserting a law and order platform.
Control of the media and suppression of criticism or dissent.
Empty promises of everything to everyone.
The promotion of force as a means to an end.
Militarism.

There's a reason that antifa opposes the policies, positions, and followers of trumpism. Whatever you might think about antifas politics; that they're marxists (and whatever you may think about marxists)...all of the above applies. You can oppose BLM, and you can oppose marxism, but being opposed to either won't make Trumpism any less of a fascist movement. Here in the US...and I am speaking from experience with our school system, we're taught to oppose fascism. American republicans oppose fascism. American democrats oppose fascism. American socialists oppose fascism. American communists oppose fascism. American anarchists oppose fascism. The united states, by design and by culture and by education, is an explicitly antifacist state.

It is a tragedy of global proportions that we, as americans, have found ourselves in such a position that fascist propaganda can land with a susceptible audience. Perhaps, if we really had been taught to be marxists, we wouldn't be in this position. As it stands, we damage ourselves and the rest of the world out of frustrations which arise from our own failure to provide the access and opportunity required to live the american dream. I understand and could empathize with the people who've been conned into american fascism, except for that nagging bit about how they believe that they will be granted that access and opportunity by fucking over their fellow americans and rejecting the ideals that make us america to begin with. I think that it's unfortunate that they have decided to go all in with ideas and behaviors that have been historically and falsely used by the critics of the united states, some of which helped us into this position, to erode the confidence that people have in the superiority of those ideals as they apply to the governance of any state, anywhere.

But hey, what do I know about america? It's a good thing we've got one of her majesty's prisoners to tell me about it. Jerkoff
