Meh, as good an intro as any. It's a strange product of fox programming and nostalgia that a group of triggered people, who have lived their entire lives never having been made to face the ugliness we face today, and so having built no stamina -to- face those things now imagine themselves to be the calm and stoic party in some generational divide. Fragility-as-tolerance.
They're not calm. They're not stoic. They're not reasonable, and they certainly not untriggered. They were merely apathetic, and taught their children to be as apathetic as they were. That's why we're here, today. We can add that to the list of other extravagances they accrued which someone else, and someone younger, will have to pay.
Maybe it never occurred to them, but no one likes a debtor.
