Maybe it was Trump’s choice not to speak at Bush’s funeral. It’s possible (though pretty unlikely) that he was asked to say a few words and declined.
I think the reason he didn’t go to Lewis’ funeral is that he’s a petty, small-minded bigot.

If it was " his choice" not to speak at any event, it was because he is a douchebag, and taking anyone up on it would have made him look like a bigger douche considering how he had attacked McCain, Bush, and blacks.
Nobody wanted him to speak because he is petty and small minded, not just that he is a fucking bigot. That would apply to Lewis for sure. But even with the others, he didn't speak because he is not Obama or Clinton or Bush jr.
