Alot of muslims aren't islamists, so they can claim that it isn't done in the name of their faith.
Winter can't, because he is an islamist, but he still has that residual feeling above from when he wasn't. He's a good boy who does what he's told and doesn't stand out. When he hears islamists speak, he perceives it to be a positive messaging campaign, and since he believes that he's a good person (and, likely, is) he doesn't believe that he could possibly be any of the other things he is
-because that would be bad.
It's a tight knot. Been known to explode when it's unraveled. White, black, brown, islamic, christian, western or eastern, doesn't matter.
Here's a question for you, Winter - about islamaphobic white supremacists who commit acts of terror. Have you ever looked into their specified fears and anxieties? Notice anything familiar?
