My rule of thumb is that Costner movies involving golf or baseball ("Field of Dreams", "Bull Durham", "Tin Cup") might actually be watchable. That should come as a surprise as I'm a fan of neither baseball nor golf.
It's sort of a rule or something that I have to watch "Field of Dreams" now and then. It was filmed just outside the town where I grew up. I know some of the ghost players and other extras in the movie as well as some who worked construction for the filming. Beyond that I am not seeking out a Costner movie.
Husband was watching some Nic Cage movie over the weekend...I went to my office and sewed so I didn't have to endure any of it.
