Major, and minor, events fade over time as more events occur and push the older ones back.

There is also the aspect of how much an event influenced your life directly and even your age at the time it happened.

There isn't going to be 24/7 on all the channels of an event from 19 years ago. There will be plenty to see though if you want to. I am pretty certain you could watch coverage for 24 hours today if that is what you want to do.

Short term memory is forgetting what happened in the short term...hence the name.

19 years doesn't fit as "short-term".

As usual you have gotten stuck on the wrong thing. Have a beer Brian, throw the empty on the floor and crack open another one. You are all jacked up with no place to go again.
