Quote:I agree. All lives matter does mean that to some people. But to a shit load of people it just means all lives matter. Same goes for black lives matter. To the anti-white, anti-Jewish, anti-Asian people, which there are a shit load of, it can mean only black lives matter. To a shit load of other people it means 'black lives also matter'. Anything can mean whatever one wants it to mean. If you don't want to hear people saying all lives matter in response to black lives matter though, it might help if there weren't a shit load of anti-white racist supremacist BLM supporters. When these kinds of people put out their supremacist views, expect a retort. Lets not pretend that there aren't racists and bigots in every racial group and only take the time to criticize the ones with the lighter skin.Ah yes a healthy mixture of cop apologetics and "whites are the real victims " Mixed with more conspiracy tripe
I disagree with your kiddy pool analogy because more whites are killed by police than blacks are. It just doesn't make it onto the corporate news because it doesn't fit the agenda, while most of the killings of black men are talked about by the MSM. As far as I know, whites are more likely to be killed than blacks if you go by encounters with the police. I do see that blacks are far more likely to go to jail for minor drug offenses, and that's screwed up. Those people should be released. Maybe blacks are framed more by police. I don't know. Blacks are given harsher sentences in general, which is screwed up. Maybe blacks are roughed up by police more, but that could be partly because they're resisting more? I'm not sure. Blacks, whites, latinos, etc all suffer from police brutality. It's not just a black thing. Many of the killings are overblown too. You can't put a cop in a headlock or reach for a weapon. That used to be called suicide by cop. Now it's called racism.
When it comes to white people in general, they are not a big threat to blacks. Look at the statistics. Thousands of white women raped by blacks every year, while white on black rape is almost non-existent. Those white women's lives don't matter? Someone just has to be racist to say that they matter? What kind of sillyness is that? Black on white violence is far greater than the other way around. Black on white murder is far greater than the other way around, but white people are just swimming in the kiddy pool going through nothing, right? Not a worry in the world for white people, right? All races go through bad shit. Quit acting like only blacks have bad things happen to them. That's not reality.
Of course most black people are good people. Most black people don't want to defund the police and don't support this sinister agenda. They see how bad of an idea that is. They're not racist and want to get along with other races, which is how it should be. I personally don't go around saying black lives matter, white lives matter, or all lives matter, because these things are obvious and I need not utter any of them.

Nobody has to be racist to say anything, it's optional. Honestly, the most unhinged part of that one was a direct comparison between cops and rapists.

The atheist and skeptic youtube community was a primary vehicle for alt right propaganda. Still would be, if the cash hadn't dried up. We can generously assume that, for the most part, they were just dancing for money and chasing what people clicked. Espousing contentious points of view was a successful monetization strategy for youtubers. They could always hedge by saying that they were only considering other peoples opinions, or what other people were saying, etc. Happened to play into a successful dissemination strategy by white supremacists, bonus.
Where it starts to get amusing, is wondering where or whether there is a line between repeating white supremacist propaganda, and believing it. You might not have to do more than say it alot to convince yourself that it's true. Obviously, our friend didn't get their idea about white knees bending from seeing any white knees bending - but I suspect they've said it alot.
The idea that they're resisting - for example. Sure, fine, let's imagine - on the words of cops who shoot them, that they were resisting. If we say it enough we can convince ourselves of it. But so what? Resisting arrest isn't a capital offense, and we generally prefer that juries hand down death sentences, not patrol officers. The snarkier way to conside this, ofc, is to insist that all of those poor white lives were resisting, anyway. Goose and gander.
