Except if Boru is talking about wavefunction collapse, then the implication of that isn't there are parallel universes.
That said, what is wrong with open mindedness? No matter what interpretation of quantum you go for, it's a fucking bizarre universe we find ourselves in.
This is my point.
The universe is certainly freaky, but it we still don't have to default to old mythology or tribal rivalry.
I am pretty sure in most QM universes Boru doesn't want to marry me, and I don't want to marry him.

I have no problem with open mindedness.
But that still does not mean "anything goes". Religion to me, teaches fantasy. Science tries to find out answers, not excuses.
