Communists believe in a powerful state government. Syndicalists want to abolish the state and government altogether.
Syndicalism is basically a "co-op", a cooperative.
Communism forces everyone to comply. Cooperatives hold out their arms to anyone willing to join, and do not force people to stay in the co-op. Communists build definite borders to create a state. Cooperatives acknowledge the idea of political borders, yet frown on them, prefering that humanity come together willingly as a team, not cut-throat competition against their neighbors and fellow syndicalists.
I will admit I kept the definitions simple for the sake of an expeditious posting.
And the minute your syndicate incorporates people into the equation it will collapse in a bickering, backstabbing, selfserving, grandstanding pile of pettiness.
