Well, tis' not something that could compare to that...You're talking about a huge media campaign that was aimed to create a public enemy.
And these are the public enemy of our times, so I really wouldn't blame some Americans for being inherently anti-muslim, even though they might have cheered for them during the Soviet-Afghan wars and all...
