what does what god allowed to happen to job have to do with the rest of us? plus God never said hurt job. in fact he put limits on what satan could do to job. Satan could have bought job out. gave him riches and women made him a rock star. satan's nature would not allow it. satan wanted to destroy god limited that.
this is not God's world. this world belongs to satan these bodies belong to satan. why should god interfere with any of us? remember the open to the book of Job? God asks satan what he was up to where had he been? what was satan's reply? did he say cooking souls in hell? no he was wandering the earth too and fro.. this world in satan's kingdom. not hell. when satan goes to hell it is for ever lasting torment.
a loving God provides a way out satan's mess for those who want out. not all want out or away from this master satan.

As to Job, read Job 2;3 where Yahweh admits to Satan moving him to do evil to Job without a just cause.
Yahweh admits to being a sinner, just as we are, given that we are created in that genocidal bastards image.
I think it great that Christians generally have better morals than Yahweh.

god here is used as a gerneic term. like thor is a god. perhaps this is where we get the idea of demi gods.
the earth was given to us. we promptly turned it over to satan. to reclaim the earth is to wipe everything out and start over..
the bit on job maybe keep reading in a non dead dialect of english:

Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

God is saying why are you (devil) asking to strike at job he has done nothing. devil says he has done nothing because you give him everything. if you strike at him he will curse you. then God said job is in your hands.. but dont hurt him/his body or kill him.
again the point God gave job over to satan to test. satan again could have given job more/made him a rock star of sorts. rather his will was to bring hell into job's life. again all God did is remove his protection from Job and satan was allow to do anything and satan chose to do evil against job after God said he has never done anything evil!
where does God admit to sin? If i knew what god knew, and has his same purposes then i should hope i would make the same calls.
