You've got a strange idea of the relationship between magic book and islamic warlords.  It very much reminds me of the progressive american lefts view that christians are unchristian - and that view is similarly supported by a misunderstanding of christianity within the western revisionist history of it's institution.  So, pretty much same-sies.

Before there was a magic book, it very literally was hadith, and it was the production and collection of those hadith and their method of production and collection that led to the thing you now worship as an idol.
