The reason that the rule doesn't apply to religionists is that religion is a choice. Race, sex, gender, ethnicity, etc. are not choices.
What do you think Mr. Biden's next policy initiative should be?

Calling a Muslim towel head or mudslime is as bad as any other slur. Muslims are not a race, but anti-Muslim bigotry is still a thing.
I see N like the word queer. Queer is a slur, and also an identity, and it can also mean strange and probably other things too. Why is the word queer allowed, a slur that some gay people have been called right before they were murdered? N is not just a slur. N is like the word fuck. It can be used to mean like 50 different things. Tupac said to him it meant never ignorant getting goals accomplished. Those of us who grew up listening to rap music didn't see it as first and foremost a slur, and we used it among friends. I saw on a commercial for some new show, gays were calling each other the H word (homosexual minus the sexual). The F word (cigarette) doesn't bother me at all as a bisexual man. I don't think of it as an anti-gay slur first and foremost. I think of it as just calling someone annoying or lame or whatever. If you were young like me, in your 30s, that's what the word meant to us growing up. An annoying person.
Imagine if a poetry club made people censor themselves when they went up and did their poetry or spoken word. A gay person reads their poem, but has to say "They called me the H word" because that word is not allowed. Picture that in your head. How ridiculous would that look?
Like I said before, I will abide by the rules. Not trying to cause trouble. I'm glad to see some of the mods and other members think this particular rule is silly though. I just see it as a virtue signalling kind of rule. As a bisexual person, I don't need straight people virtue signalling and banning words like cigarette to protect me, and I actually see that as insulting, but the rules are the rules.
And on topic, President Biden kept his promise and eliminated student debt. Less than one percent of it, but still, it's better than nothing I guess.
‘Queer’ is not a slur.
