Why are angels always males?

But how come there are never women angels? Maybe with names like Daria, Melissa, or Belinda?

My initial guess is that these names aren't gendered. And if they are, the genderization of them probably occured after the fact. Hence why masculine and feminine varients of these names exist: Michael/Michelle or Gabriel/Gabriella.

A way to disprove this would be to show that the names were already around and were already masculine before they were adopted by angels as their title.
