Couldn't we all just go on and on (ad nauseum) about the hypocrisy, bigotry, hatred, class distinction, but possibly the fact that most of xtianity's adherents are no better than children...they don't think and so NEED an authority figure / scapegoat to justify their own inadequacies. I apply my distaste for adherence to any religion from the primitive aboriginal (cultures) to the latest woo of the new agers. One use of xtianity is to keep unskilled useless tribal members in some sort of "job" where they can climb the social ranks to a position of authority never learning anything of value to society along the way.... many are now politicians....

Fantasy is a wonderful tool for the very young BUT there comes a time when we ALL have to grow up and face reality.
