Cheney challenger admits to statutory rape: Republicans don't care

From what I could gather, it’s a little of Column A and B. Apparently, he admitted it because there was supposed to be a big exposé somewhere exposing his past and, because it turns out it’s terrifyingly easy to spin “impregnated a 14-year-old when he was 18” into “I impregnated a 14-year-old girl when I was younger and married her instead of getting an abortion” and hope that the fact that he married her somehow absolved him in his voters’ eyes, he admitted to it. And, evidently, it seems to have worked.
