Our coop did just build a nice big solar farm a couple years back and we do pay less for electricity on account of it, but that doesn’t really help me much. Solar isn’t going to bring my greenhouse up to 60 on a winter night.

Ofc, I do...because you seem to have some mad max situation in mind, whereas I make a living doing site demos and new installations in the ag sector. It’s a non profit op and we mostly work with or through the nrcs, epa, and usda grant programs specific to conservation agriculture.
So, no..biker, I’m not off grid and have no interest in going off grid. The point of sustainability is to get everyone more, with less.
