The wing nut right is now proposing a 3/5ths compromise where parents own the votes of their minor children. A self own on multiple levels. The first being right on its face…the second related to their culture war fears. They believe that they’re being out-bred and replaced in their own country. What will giving additional parent controlled votes to the invaders accomplish….in their minds?
Also, researchers have documented a war between chimps and gorillas over resources. It had been noticed by primate researchers before, but, for whatever reason, the scholarly consensus wanted to insist that other primates just don’t do that.
