You're a fucking moron if you think 'Nature will take care'. The BSE epidemic has shown, that even with all our technology, disposing of contaminated biowaste is difficult, slow and prone to reintroducing diseases back into the supply (recycling of feed is one such vector). Nature's ability to "take care" was briefly considered and disregarded as simply leaving heaps of rotting meat proved to be more noxious and dangerous (bacterial blooms, et al).
