I don’t think that’s legally possible or ethically supportable. You can’t select one class of legal product out of thousands and hold the manufacturer responsible for that product’s criminal misuse.
Suppose I make a bomb out of chemical fertilizer and blow up a building, killing dozens of people and injuring hundreds more. Is DowAgro responsible for those deaths and injuries?
Why should guns be treated differently than other products?
