You used the phrase 'colored people' in a thread about being PC that turned into Biker being called a white supremicist and a racist in general.

To be perfectly fair -

My buddy' s dad (who was black) referred to his own kids as "colored children". "Negro" was just going out of favor.

In the 70' s - that was perfectly acceptable. "Black" was just getting it' s sea legs at that time.

....

But yeah -  that is amusing..

Growing up, I remember adults informing me "colored people" was preferable over "black". At least I think I remember, much of my youth is hazy.
