Does nobody realise the difference between viruses and bacteria?

In a biological sense, not really.  I'm aware viruses are smaller to the extent that they can live inside bacteria. I'm aware that viruses are immune to antibiotics. That's why doctors do not prescribe antibiotic for the flu.  

Really? You could have looked that up but you couldn't be bothered? Even though it affects your own health?

That viruses which infect humans have different levels of contagion. EG that the Spanish flu at the beginning of the twentieth century was not highly contagious, but  had a very high mortality rate.

Bacteria are highly contagios and cause plenty of sickness and death. Conversely, Covid19 is highly contagious but mercifully has relatively low level or morality if vaccines are used.

Good for you. I am all vaxxed up. Anyone who is not is, in my view is idiotic.

I'm over 70 and in poor health. It's my understanding that if I contract Covid19, I have a 2% chance of dying, but I'm not sure that's right.

Here Covid19 has been going through aged care facilities like a dose of salts, with a high mortality rate.

Yet somehow nowhere else. Funny that.

To avoid contagion, I tend to stay home.

As an essential worker, I have been out and about the whole time. Take the precautions and it is not a problem.

I've lived alone for many years, so this is not a a hardship for me. Of course this is as long as I have my computers,  Netflix and my painting to fill my time.

I live alone. But I still enjoy the company of others.
