Ugh... I very much disliked Blair Witch. I'm rather unfond of all "found footage" style films. But some people really like them.

If you like creature features, Mister, you wanna see Lights Out. It's a good one.

'Blair Witch' made me queasy...not the plot (and I use that word loosely) but the awful filming.

I like psychological thrillers...no gore is best.  'Silence of the Lambs' is a good example of the type of scary movie I like.

I used to read scary books, like The Exorcist, but have read little in that genre in a long time.

Yeah, I hate when movies do shaky cam it doesn't make the movie scarier it just makes it seem the director was too lazy to set up a proper shot, Silence of the Lambs is one i can only watch once in a while because it seriously creeps me out, Anthony Hopkins was freaking brilliant in that film.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of gore either. Yuck!

It’s not so much the *yuck* factor as it is the laziness of the filmmakers. A film like ‘Psycho’ requires a helluva lot more cinematic artistry than ‘A Nightmare On Elm Street’.

I kind of dislike it both for the yuck and for the laziness but also for the fact it's gotten so over the top over the years it kills my suspension of disbelief.
