What can I say? Bullshit.
He was baby and need to be protected. He especially needed to be protected from the rest of humanity who would have exploited him and probably tried to kill him for being so different.
Yes, things happened to him a baby as it did to all of us that he might not have chosen if we had a choice.. I've read claims from psychologists that we owe our parents nothing either. The link below was found after a short search. It seems to be a widely held view. I'm not claiming it's necessarily true, only that it's different view from the one you seem to hold.
There's a lot of stuff online about this topic. I found it interesting but confusing. My position is that I owe my parents a great deal for the things they did for for me, for the sacrifices they made for me.. I owe them nothing for the things they did to me which did my head in.
