That's interesting. Where did that image projection power appear? I'm guessing back in the Golden Age.
The power I've always had a problem with is super cold breath. I could accept super force breath maybe, but not cold. His breath should be warm just like any living person because it originates in his lungs. And I could accept the he could expel his breath faster than any human, but his lung capacity shouldn't be much more than mine because his lungs only have so much volume. So it would be more like a high pressure pulse, not a minutes long exhale. By comic book logic Superman should be able to cut open a vein and fill up a stadium with is own blood. And yes, I know how silly it sounds.
