Posting images etc

Now Lady did tell me how to do this, but I lost her post. Seemed a bit complicated, from memory. That's why I've put off learning how to do it.

I'd really like to know how to post images from say Google photos and Google images. Also Youtube so it shows as an image and not just a link. Wiki showing an introduction to the topic.

Yes, I know it's also to ask, but I will appreciate the info. Perhaps simplify/ dumb it down a notch or two.

Images is easy if you don't want fancy.  Just wrap image tags around your photo's url lie so:

{img}Your URL here{/img}

Albeit bang in square brackets instead of the squiggly ones.

 OK. I'll try again. I'll try uploading from my PC I did as shown in your explanation last time, from Google Photos.





Now there's a thumbnail there. What do you see if anything? The photo is of my garden right now. The tree with the red flowers is native Bottle Brush. Behind that there is taller tree with bright yellow flowers. That's a native franjipani, it just grew.
