Here it's been people with guns who have killed people. Take away the guns and people stop being killed by guns. Excepting police shootings of course. Between 1992 and 2011 there have been 92 police shootings in Australia.
Remembering the thread we made on the Alec Baldwin shooting, I know he made crystal clear that he does not believe accidental discharges are a thing (except maybe in a fire, and even that's just negligence.) Even pointing him in the direction of a ballistics textbook with most of the section on Accidental Discharge available on Google Books didn't sway him
