Bullshit.
Bullshit.
Never did " the gun just went off".
There is ALWAYS some negligent prick involved 99.99999%.of the time with his booger hook on the trigger.
You obviously have no real experience with firearms. I have NEVER seen in over 50 years of gun handling and ownership - nor in my time selling guns or working on them for customers - a gun spontaneously fire. The ONLY one I have heard of - and known examples are very rare - less than 5 known - was a malfunction with the safety on Remington 700 rifles - AND THOSE still required a person to disengage the safety.
Literally 1 in billions odds.
That's not true at all, vintage revolvers were commonly known to fire spontaneously, which is why it was common practice to rest the hammer on an empty chamber.
You obviously DON' T know what you are talking about.
A revolver with a fixed firing pin is kept on an empty cylinder for one reason - to keep it from firing if it is accidentally dropped and lands on the hammer spur.
If the hammer is cocked - or half cocked - the cylinder rotates off the empty chamber onto a loaded one - thus negating it' s safety potential.
Guns do not " spontaneously fire" you ignorant fool.
( the stupid is strong with this one)
TAKE THIS TO THE BANK FOLKS -
Guns never go off by themself. Never.
It takes the hand of some idiot who doesn' t know what the fuck they are doing.....
