Do you ever hear things in the media that you just find annoying?

For me - few things beat the PC use of genderless terms - when it' s completely uncalled for - to wit -

"Pregnant people".

Fucking seriously?

"People"?

Maybe it's ignorant of me i'm often told it's ignorant because it's "important" Although I agree for certain things I disagree for others. There is enough information online and trusting friends who tell me what's going on in the world when it's needed. But the media always gave me anxiety growing up so as I got older I choose to not watch the media it's not good for my health. Unless it's voting day or something I know is important I ignore the news. I do of course live in a society with other people so when I'm over someone else's place the news is usually playing and honestly, i suck when it comes to telling others something from the top of my head. But I can say I noticed the way the media likes to take good information and worp it in a way that isn't entirely true? I don't know...because there are things like covid that are true and legit. But then I see things like fox news and I'm just like go away! I can't do media they just feed off each other's negativity instead of ignoring the negativity and focusing on improving the quality.
