Are you saying that in your IRL circle of friends, when you describe yourself and your life you use "my truth" or "my authentic self"? Do your acquaintances?
Quite frankly I see those two as catch phrases used mostly for getting attention. I also find those phrases used (or over used) in the therapy community, or by those that are poser pop culture therapists. Apparently they also help to sell a lot of books. There is even online tests for my truth and authentic self. I took an authentic self one (didn't get my score, required my email) and at the bottom there was a button to sign up therapy.
Hopefully these will be a fad and my instant skeptic knee jerk will fade.
Edit: What is rapid pcb?

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
