I personally abhor mixing fruit with anything cooked.
About two years ago, my employer had a pizza party and there was a wide selection of pizza types. There was one pineapple pizza. Out of 60+ people, there were four who ate slices from the pineapple pizza. Three were women. Not a large enough sample size to say anything scientific but take what you will from it.
