I played a character named, "Alex Freeman" in a Star Trek role-playing game. The character frequently engaged in time travel. So, the initials, "AF" followed by, "TT" for time traveler. The, "47" is from the fact that the numbers 4 and 7 come up very frequently in Star Trek lore.
Noice! I had no idea your username was so cool. What game? Is it any good? Star Trek RPG sounds nice. I might pick it up.
Also, in all my years of fandom, I'm somehow unfamiliar with the 4 and 7 thing. What's that all about?
There have been many Star Trek role-playing games over the years. I don't remember much specifics about this one. It was similar to Dungeons and Dragons but set in the Star Trek universe. I remember that character attributes like strength and intelligence were in the range of 1 - 100 rather than 3 - 18 as in D & D.
Somebody noticed that when Star Trek uses numbers (such as Rigel IV or Rigel VII or Starbase 47) the appearances of the numbers 4 and/or 7 appear way more frequently than random chance would suggest. For whatever reason, writers seem to have a strong affinity for the numbers 4 and 7.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.
