He does. I have looked (at least somewhat) like a woman now for over four years, and my doctor has just ignored that fact for the last several years even as he has pushed my long hair back to look into my ears, tapped my fully shaven legs, etc.
I found his comments to be amusing and was surprised when he asked, and so, decided to share that here. Perhaps healthcare for transgender individuals is changing?
