I’m bloody sick of people telling me that a tomato is a fruit. I’m not a feckin’ botanist, fer feck’s sake. Do you put tomatoes in a fruit salad? No. Do tomatoes make a wonderful addition to your ice cream sundae? No. Is ‘tomato’ a Skittles flavour? No.

It’s a goddam vegetable.
