Same defense at Nuremberg.
The defense at Nuremberg was "an order's an order*," not the sort of cultural relativism Ahriman's defending. And if you wonder why the US still supports them after all this horseshit, well, apart from the extremely complicated geopolitical shit in the area, they have the fucking oil. And this is what happens when you focus too much on dwindling energy sources.
*And, yes, I am well aware that it's popularly translated as "I was only following orders." This version's just more accurate to the original German Befehl ist Befehl.

Executions are unnecessary and cruel; 81 in one day is, at a minimum, poking due process of law in the eye. By international standards of law, everyone is entitled to due process, and beheading 81 human beings in an afternoon is not due process.
A murderer was captured and tried today... Sentence: Death. Execution at 6. All Net, All Channels.
