It’s actually a very good analogy, even though you don’t understand it. I’ll try again: Freedom of speech is necessarily limited (as are all freedoms). The place were it is most limited is in regard to non-governmental entities. In other words, you don’t get to decide how you express yourself in my home. Similarly, you don’t get to decide how you post here as a new member. If you don’t like our 30/30 rule, that’s perfect fine. If you object to our rule regarding hate speech and slurs, that’s perfectly peachy as well. If you find these rules especially onerous, you are free to go to another forum, or start one of your own. But while you’re here, we expect you to follow the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

I can assure you that this forum is in no way run by any government, so it’s just silly of you to whinge about your freedom of speech (since it doesn’t apply here any more than it would if you were in my house).

  Listen sukka.  You live in MY house.  You see, in MY house we have this thing called the Second Amendment.  It forbids restrictions against Freedom of Speech.  (In theory)  You can't build a house within a house and say that only your rules apply in it.  Well..... maybe you could.  But that wouldn't make you right.  Also, do you even know why the government has a LAW forbidding the restriction of Freedom of Speech?  Because doing so is a bad thing.  If it is a bad thing for the government to do, it is a bad thing for anybody who lives within that government to do too.

  Next, I'm not interested in your lies.  Take this example.  There are may people out there who support White people.  There are also members of the KKK or those who support them out there.  There are people out there who are Nazis or support them out there.  There isn't a single forum out there that supports White people.  There isn't a single forum out there for KKK members or their supporters out there.  There isn't a single forum out there for Nazis or those who support them.  There is a forum out there where truth to some extent can be spoken.  That is all.  So where are all those other forums?  They get taken down by the government.  That this forum even exists PROVES that at least to some extent it is run by the government.  Would you like more?  Because I have much more.

The FIRST Amendment says the government can’t abridge freedom of speech, it says nothing about what non-governmental entities can do.

There are plenty of laws restricting free speech - you can’t libel people, you can’t slander people, you can’t incite people to riot, and so on.

If you think there are no white nationalist/racist/Nazi forums ‘out there’ I have to wonder if we’re looking at the same internet.
