That isn't exactly true. When you have a flat line EEG the brain is clinically dead. You can not recreate that without killing the patient.
I will agree that some experiences can be recreated, that does not negate the fact that most are genuine.
The real issue is can we continue to exist outside of our physical body in a spiritual form.
No one has been resuscitated who has entered a state of brain death; Pam Reynolds did not have a flat EEG, certainly after she was resuscitated.
