No nudity, violence or swearing at all in it.
Hey Stimpy!
It was banned as a result of lobbying (bullying) from the Christian Right (Pat Robertson, Jimmy Swaggart, Jerry Falwell.... I grew up in Virginia.)
In the 1980's they really had a grip on power and did indeed influence much of what was aired in television.
This video was not banned, but was delayed nearly a year in airing... same lobby (bully) was bitching about it. The beginning of the 90's things began to change... kind of exposes them for what they really were.

In the 80's the religious right (Moral Majority) supported a position of ignorance and zero tolerance when it came to criticism. It seemed to support their "bliss" at the time. If anyone thinks it's bad now... think again!

btw... I was once fired from a job at a minigolf due to my opinion about abortion. It was in a discussion outside of the workplace, but my boss caught wind of it. I was considered not to be of proper moral standing to work in such a family environment. There were really no clear cut channels to fight against such an obvious discrimination. It is much better now, but the process of adaptation is a continual one.

Athesim is not a system of belief, but rather a single answer to a single question. It is the designation applied by theists to those who do not share their assumption that a god/deity exists. - MoS
I am not one to attribute godlike qualities to things that I am unable to understand. I may never be in the position to understand certain things, but I am not about to create an anthropomorphic deity out of my short-commings. I wish not to errect a monument to my own personal ignorace and demand that others worship this proxy of ego. - MoS
