I must have extremely good trans radar, because, with all due respect, something about the facial structure (or maybe the jawline) tipped me off immediately. Then again, if I remember her posts accurately, she spent decades pretending to be male before she found out who she really was, so having your body flood you with the wrong hormones for decades might have something to do with it, even if she’s finally embraced who she really is.

I am at peace with myself; no one else should care.

And, honestly, that’s all that should matter. Unfortunately, people are fucked up and one of the two major political parties has decided you’re public enemy #1 because it took you years to catch up to who you really are.
