Sounds like a pretty radical and crazy statement from the edit.  How about context, and not just a sound bite?

The Right and Left often use edits to highlight a statement to "brand" someone a radical.  Sometimes its justified but often it isn't.  Context matters.

Now, if there wasn't any mediating context, then yes, this person is a radical, but how would you know without seeing the full interview?

I've heard the woman speak about this subject before, but yes, you are right. The clip was very short. I could not find that particular interview as it was supposedly deleted, but here is another one where she is talking about abolition. She is mostly pretty vague and not very precise about what she is calling for, and says her solution is building communities to have the capacity to deal with harm.
