That's the infuriating bit. West Virginians have abortions, they fucking -love- havin them some abortions. It's just that dems don't actually want to run on abortion, in wv or anywhere else. That's for the primaries, not the general. The pojnt of being pro choice - politically, as a dem in primaries..is as a trade for some bit of corporatist arglebargle. Hi, I'm, Bill. Vote for me if because I believe in a womans right to choose (but not her service provider).
The article I read that showed polling data on the issue per state shaded in via colors must have been based on bad polling in that case. And I can’t remember the article to reference it. Alas. I’d look on Pew but I don’t know if they have state based polling?
