In fact vast majority of life on earth as measured by species, and very likely by biomass, reproduce asexually. so your biblical “kind” is the abnormality, not the other way around.
I guess we forgot about the whole asexual conception and birth of Jesus? The point is, mixing seed from different species cannot produce fertile offspring. Bringing up Asexual reproduction is irrelevant to that fact.
The so-called Virgin Birth is a later development which we can talk about in another thread. As I said, speciation is about not having sex. And, so, let's say that a small group of individuals of a species get separated, a founder population, that ends up on an island far from the main land mass where the others live. The two populations, the main one and the founder, will no longer intebreed. Since the founder population is smaller, it will have more genetic variations, and after some time, if the two populations would ever meet up again, they will no longer be able to produce viable offspring; they will have become two separate species. Get it?
