i am belphegor. i chose this alias because it's hilarious.
i grew up in a household that seemed pretty secular until a family member suffered a brain injury. after that, at about 10 years old, i was required to attend a christian church regularly. it was confusing, boring, and bizarre. since then, i've followed my own path and questioned a lot of things. i wouldn't call myself atheist. in fact, i wouldn't call myself anything. i strongly reject organized religion and i'm uncertain about the existence of a higher power, but in the spirit of keeping an open mind, i try not to rule too many things out.
