Met an aide at my new place of employment who grew up traditionally Pentecostal. Wouldn't know it seeing her now and hearing the stories she tells of the things she's done. Some of her sisters are still within the faith. Some of them, like her, managed to escape.

When I first moved here I worked for a small company that employed a very close knit group of female immigrants from Mexico.  They weren't exactly bashful in their conversations, especially with regard to their husbands.  And they often spoke in Spanglish so even someone like me could figure out what was being discussed.  A woman was hired who was a long denim skirt wearing, long hair having Pentecostal.  She didn't last long.  She nearly blushed herself to death.

I'll bet her face wasn't the only part of her that was "blushing", and *that's* why she was so embarrassed.
